Mission:
We are seeking a Project Manager skilled in leading and managing projects from conception and design through to implementation, testing, and handover. The role requires technical expertise and management skills to complete projects accurately, on time, and within budget, achieving revenue targets.
Project types include Substations, Medium and Low Voltage Equipment, Electrical Distribution, Infrastructure, Data Centers, and Industry sectors. Experience in MV equipment and auxiliary systems such as power transformers, MV and LV switchgears, UPS, VFDs, protections, control, and automation (including selectivity studies, communication networks, automatic transfers) is essential.
Main Responsibilities:
* Leading project execution teams and all project stages, defining resources and responsibilities.
* Reviewing technical documentation to optimize solutions and ensure customer requirements are met.
* Making decisions on technical comments raised by customers.
* Leading kickoff meetings with customers, factories, and subcontractors.
* Monitoring project progress to ensure timely delivery, using tracking tools and proactive decision-making.
* Conducting risk and opportunity analysis to mitigate potential issues.
* Managing customer communication to enhance satisfaction.
* Collaborating with procurement for subcontract negotiations.
* Coordinating with national and international factories, suppliers, and internal teams.
* Monitoring delivery times, costs, and quality during project execution.
* Achieving margin improvements and budgeted results.
* Conducting project reviews and providing estimates of margin at completion.
* Handling variation orders and claims, managing contractual deviations, and mitigating conflicts.
* Driving customer relationships and communication, managing FAT events, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
* Managing project closure and transfer to Field Services.
Knowledge and Experience:
* Technical Engineer or Bachelor of Engineering.
* Project management experience in Medium Voltage Solutions, MV Equipment, and turnkey plants.
* Experience in Electrical Distribution Substations and electrical network design.
* Knowledge of control and monitoring systems for Electrical Distribution Systems.
* Experience in Data Center applications is valuable.
* Valuable PMI Certification.
