The Opportunity
Our Data Office team is seeking an experienced SAP Customer Master Data Manager to oversee and manage the creation, maintenance, and accuracy of customer master data in our SAP system. This role will focus on ensuring high data quality standards are met while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance data governance and integrity. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, excellent communicator, and has a proven track record of managing complex SAP CMD projects in cosmetic and/or luxury sector
What you\'ll get to do
* Manage the creation, updating, and maintenance of customer master data in SAP.
* Establish and enforce data governance policies and procedures related to customer master data.
* Collaborate with stakeholders from sales, finance, and logistics to ensure alignment on data requirements and processes.
* Conduct regular data audits to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
* Develop and maintain documentation for customer data management processes, including data definitions and usage standards.
* Provide training and support to team members and end-users on master data management practices.
* Act as the primary point of contact for customer master data inquiries and issues.
* Implement data quality metrics and KPIs to monitor performance and drive continuous improvement.
* Identify improvement initiatives, both from a functional or from an automation perspective
* Define Customer Master Data Initiatives in SAP based on new business requirement
* Identify alerts when master data is missing and define rules to be followed by the users when creating the required customer attributes
* Participate in system testing and implementation activities
We\'d love to meet you if you have
* Bachelor\'s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
* Proven experience in SAP customer master data management.
* Strong understanding of data governance principles and best practices.
* Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
* Proficiency in data analysis tools and reporting (Excel, PowerPoint, SAP BI, SAP BW, etc.).
* Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira).
* Knowledge of data management tools and methodologies is a plus.
