Join a renowned 6-star luxury cruise line as a Sous Chef in charge of the Fish Preparation Station at the main French restaurant. Lead a small team, manage the entire fish process, and explore the globe while advancing your career in luxury hospitality.
About the Role
Manage the fish station, supervise a team of 2-3, ensure quality, hygiene, and safety standards, and collaborate with other sections to maintain smooth galley operations.
Key Details
* Contract: 5 months onboard / 2 months off
* Schedule: 10 hours/day, no days off
* Cabin: Private single accommodation onboard
* Salary: USD $4,500/month (tax-free, onboard only)
* Promotion Opportunities: To Senior Sous or Chef de Cuisine
Your Responsibilities
* Lead fish station operations from raw handling to plating
* Mentor and supervise team members
* Maintain hygiene, safety, and presentation standards
* Coordinate with other galley sections
* Prepare mise-en-place for luxury service
Qualifications
* 3+ years in fine dining, luxury hotels, or cruise ships as Sous Chef
* Expertise in fish and seafood, knife skills, plating
* Valid STCW, C1/D Visa, Seaman’s Book, Medical
* Fluent English, excellent communication
* Professional, calm, passionate about quality
