What will you do?
* Triage function between Technical Service and Application Support by qualifying requests and addressing customer needs in resolving inquiries.
* Contribute to achieving specific Global Service & Support (GSS) targets related to revenues, profit, service order volume, etc., while complying with internal rules and practices.
* Work closely with Support and Field Service Engineers to prioritize all activities.
* Deliver professional Support and Service activities to provide optimal support to all local customers, fostering loyalty.
* Provide responsive telephone support and work to ensure customer success with instrumentation.
* Maintain professional relationships with existing customers to achieve customer loyalty.
* Ensure response times are met when contacting customers, in line with contractual requirements.
How will you get here?
* Good verbal and written command of German, in addition to English (technical language). Any additional language skills are a plus.
* Troubleshooting knowledge and experience.
* Computer literacy, including Linux and Python command line.
* Knowledge of Next Generation Sequencing, preferably Ion Torrent.
