Why we need this roleThe Regional Security Coordinator (Europe, with a focus on Spain and the Iberian Peninsula) is responsible for overseeing and implementing security policies and procedures to ensure the safety of employees, assets, and operations within the region. This role involves coordinating security operations, managing international teams, conducting risk assessments, and responding to security incidents. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This position is based in Spain, overseeing Security Operations across Europe.What you will doOperational Security Management:
Oversee daily security operations across multiple sites in Spain and Europe. Manage security personnel, including in-house teams and third-party vendors. Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and company policies.Security Strategy and Planning:
Develop regional security standards aligned with global policies. Conduct risk assessments and threat analyses. Create and update emergency response and crisis management plans.Incident Response and Crisis Management:
Act as the primary contact for security incidents in Europe. Assist investigations and coordinate with law enforcement and emergency services.Training and Awareness:
Develop security training programs, promote security awareness, and conduct drills.Stakeholder Collaboration:
Work with internal teams and external partners, including government agencies and security firms.Other responsibilitiesSupport audits and maintain site risk registers. Manage Statements of Work for security operations in Spain and Europe.Engage in compliance frameworks, review KPIs and SLAs monthly, and hold regular meetings with suppliers.Develop and test incident management procedures, support audits (ISO standards), and report on security risks.Support projects aligned with company goals and participate in training and sustainability initiatives.What we're looking forStrong communication skills to interact with leadership, stakeholders, and external partners.Operational and technical expertise in physical security, risk management, and incident response.Experience managing security teams, performing security reviews, and assessing internal controls.Knowledge of risk assessment tools and techniques, proficiency in MS Office, PowerBI, MS Project, and data management.Problem-solving skills and analytical reasoning.Qualifications3-5 years in security management, preferably in IT, data centers, or telecommunications.Knowledge of security protocols, risk management, and crisis response.Familiarity with Spanish and EU security laws.Fluency in Spanish and good English skills.
