As we continue to grow our operations in Europe, we are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented **HR Generalist** to be the go-to person for all People-related matters in our Madrid office.

**About the Role**:
As an HR Generalist at Belmoney, you will play a key role in shaping the employee experience across the entire lifecycle. This is a hands-on position where you’ll be responsible for executing and continuously improving the HR processes, with a strong focus on recruitment, onboarding, contract management, and payroll support. You’ll work closely with local and integral teams, helping to ensure that our people operations are efficient, compliant, and aligned with Belmoney’s culture and growth strategy.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Talent Acquisition (Full-Cycle Recruitment)**
- Support hiring strategies that align with both local and global headcount plans

**Onboarding & Integration**
- Coordinate and execute structured onboarding processes for new hires
- Prepare employment contracts, gather documentation, and register employees in internal systems
- Schedule and track initial trainings and ensure a smooth transition for every new team member
- Ensure legal compliance and accurate documentation for all onboarding procedures

**People Operations & Contract Management**
- Draft, manage, and update employment contracts, amendments, and offboarding documentation in accordance with Spanish labor laws
- Keep employee records up to date and organized, ensuring compliance and confidentiality
- Partner with legal or compliance teams when necessary to support international mobility and local regulatory issues

**Payroll & HR Administration**
- Support payroll by checking timesheets, verifying salary calculations, and coordinating with finance/payroll providers
- Monitor benefits and compensation routines, and resolve any discrepancies in payment or documentation
- Handle administrative tasks such as absence tracking, holiday management, and certificates issuance

**Performance & Employee Experience**
- Assist in building and maintaining structured feedback cycles and performance reviews
- Act as a point of contact for employee questions and requests related to HR matters
- Contribute to building a strong company culture and fostering employee engagement

**Requirements**:

- 2+ years of experience in HR, preferably in a generalist role with full-cycle exposure
- Solid understanding of labor law and HR best practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication in **English** (mandatory); **Portuguese** is a strong advantage
- Organized, self-driven, and adaptable to change
- Hands-on approach and high level of accountability
