POSITION OVERVIEW 
Our EUAU-NA (Europe, Australia & North Asia) Snacks business is growing and needs an Sr. R&D; Technician I to support such growth by collaborating with the team during the development and commercialization of innovation and renovation projects. The Sr R&D; Technician I role will work with several technologies, including cold forming, extrusion, etc, and will also work with different regions such as Europe, Australia, etc. The position involves providing product lead & support across: 
- Innovation - leveraging existing and new capabilities to enable new products. 
- Renovation - supporting efforts in areas of business maintenance, raw material risk and quality improvements. 
- Holistic Margin Management (HMM) - ideate, explore, and execute HMM initiatives in partnership with cross-functional team. 
The position will be presential, based in San Adrian Technical Center (Navarra, Spain) with a certain flexibility to work from home. 
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 
- Independent leadership of projects in Snacks platform. 
- Design, coordinate, and execute experiments from benchtop in the Pilot Plant to full‑scale manufacturing, including consumer testing, analyze experimental data, and extract learnings. 
- Analyze data and prepare reports to summarize findings. Technician coaching and onboarding of other junior technicians, knowledge guardian, troubleshooting, problem‑solving. 
- Collaborate with scientists on method development and enhancements. 
- Ownership of pilot plant unit ops, safety, and GMP compliance. 
- Manage projects from concept to commercialization, including prototype development, formula and process development, designing and coordinating trials, determining material specifications, managing shelf‑life studies, scaling‑up from bench to plant, and documenting critical data, plans, and learnings all along. 
- Build trust and credibility through quality of work and effectively communicating progress, risks, and challenges, escalating appropriately, and offering alternative solutions. 
- Work collaboratively with cross‑functional stakeholders, across the R&D; and Quality, Marketing, Sourcing, Manufacturing, proactively sharing knowledge, seeking input from others, and partnering for resolution of challenges. 
- Build meaningful relations with external partners and leverage them to solve technical needs, accelerate results, and drive differentiated solutions. 
- Be an active member of the San Adrian Technical Center Community, engaging in activities to improve organizational effectiveness, promote inclusion and diversity, support team and culture building, foster connections and learning, and help be a force for good for the planet and the community. 
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science & Technology, Chemical Engineering, or related field. 
- 3+ years of experience in Food industry and in an International working environment as an R&D; Product Developer. Experience within the Snacks Industry will be much appreciated. 
- English language proficiency: excellent command of spoken and written English. 
- Demonstrated skills in managing numerous projects concurrently and adaptability to fast‑growing/constantly changing business needs.

- Driving license and willingness to travel (10% of the time aprox.). 
DEVELOPMENT CANDIDATE WILL RECEIVE IN THE ROLE 
- Deep knowledge of ingredients and technologies used in cereal bars, baked goods, and extruded products. 
- Product formulation and industrialization of high‑quality products. 
- Benchtop and commercialization experience with coaching from an experienced team.
