Role Description
The main purpose of this role is to design and manage the implementation of the Data, Insights & Analytics Strategy for both new launches as well as for in-line brands. This role will be responsible for bridging the gap between data and business, assuring a correct translation of business needs and hidden opportunities into actionable insights that support decision‑making and enhance our decisions.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Business Insight and Data Analysts in the design and implementation of Data, Insights & Analytics solutions, developing them to embrace data, insights and analytics as a business insights accelerator.
- Engage with top leadership to prioritize projects where Data, Insights & Analytics could be beneficial, defining the detailed business question/problem and then driving the delivery of the solution end‑to‑end, from the design phase to roll‑out and impact measurement.
- Develop strong business cases that justify the investment in Data, Insights & Analytics solutions, considering all impacts, requirements and defining expected results, success KPIs (measurement strategy).
- Coordinate cross‑brand launch to ensure consistency, efficiency and strategic alignment as well as synergies and best practices to maximize our impact for patients.
- Ensure excellence in new launches to maximize positive impact in patients by incorporating Data, Insights & Analytics in key activities (market research, sales forecasting, HCP/HCO targeting, sales force sizing, competitive landscape, performance tracking…).
- Influence, implement and embed relevant global market research, data, insights and analytics priority projects in line with local business needs, collaborating with global and local teams to import/export solutions that can make an impact in other areas/countries.
Basic Requirements
- Advanced Degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, Operations Research or related field.
- Prior working experience in strategy consulting, business insights or data/analytics/AI role.
- Experience in managing and developing high‑skilled analytical teams.
- Ability to identify needs and discover opportunities that can be solved with Data & AI, with extensive experience developing solid business cases (impact‑driven mindset, experience in running projects with value at risk is a plus).
- Experience in commercial analysis (marketing research, sales/marketing analysis, forecasting, competitive intelligence), with strong analytical skills, strategic thinking and problem‑solving mindset.
- Ability to work, communicate effectively, influence and build strong relationships with key stakeholders at all levels in a matrix environment.
- Fluent in English.
Preferred Requirements
- Understanding/experience within the pharmaceutical business.
- MBA or other postgraduate studies.
- Wide‑range knowledge in defining and implementing Data & AI strategies (Gen AI knowledge/experience is a plus).
- Experience in designing new operating/organizational models (roles & responsibilities, sizing, processes…).
- Strong skills in business presentations (data storytelling), spreadsheets and oral communication.
- Experience in reporting tools (e.g. Power BI) or other analytics tools (e.g. R, Python…).
