This is a confidential search for a technically strong agronomist with proven sales capability, looking to play a key role in driving market growth and strengthening distributor networks.
This position offers the opportunity to combine **business development, technical agronomy, and market expansion**, supporting the growth and positioning of the company's crop nutrition, bio-stimulant, bio-fertilizer portfolio.
**The Role**:
You will be responsible for driving **sales growth and market penetration** across Spain, developing new business opportunities while managing and supporting distributor networks.
Working at the intersection of **commercial strategy and technical agronomy**, you will lead field demonstrations, support customers technically, and translate product value into strong market adoption.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Sales & Business Development**:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to grow market share in Spain
- Identify and develop new markets, regions, and customer segments
- Build and manage strong relationships with distributors, growers, cooperatives, and consultants
- Generate new business through networking, industry events, and proactive outreach
- Deliver compelling sales presentations and negotiate commercial agreements
- Drive revenue growth, sales performance, and pipeline conversion
- Provide regular sales forecasts and market feedback to senior leadership
**Technical & Market Development**:
- Design and manage field trials and demonstration programs
- Monitor product performance and support validation for commercial use
- Provide technical support and agronomic advice to customers and distributors
- Deliver product training and technical presentations to commercial teams
- Support localization and adaptation of technical and marketing materials
- Conduct market analysis, competitor benchmarking, and customer insight gathering
**Collaboration & Market Expansion**:
- Work closely with marketing, product development, and regulatory teams
- Provide market insights to support product positioning and pipeline decisions
- Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events
- Contribute to marketing campaigns and brand development initiatives
- MSc / PhD in Agronomy, Soil Science, Crop Nutrition (or BSc with strong commercial experience)
- 5-10 years' experience in crop nutrition, fertilizers, or biologicals
- Proven track record in sales, business development, or distributor management
- Ability to combine technical knowledge with commercial acumen
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Fluent in English (Spanish strongly preferred)
- Self-driven, entrepreneurial, and comfortable working in a dynamic international environment
