We are looking to hire a Corporate EHS Expert (m/f/d) at Befesa Medio Ambiente S.L.U in Madrid to join our team and help drive the circular economy globally.
Your tasks:
Develop and implement corporate safety improvement programs and training initiatives across multiple sites
Monitor progress on action plans and EHS initiatives, ensuring structured and systematic follow-up
Lead and support safety improvement projects at plant level
Participate in corporate EHS audits and provide recommendations for improvement
Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation for corporate leadership
Provide ad hoc support for safety-related projects and requests
Your profile:
Degree or qualification in Occupational Health & Safety (engineering background preferred)
5+ years' EHS experience, ideally in multisite manufacturing or metals industries
Strong project management, coaching, and communication skills
Experience in multicultural teams and international environments
English & Spanish (B2+); German and French are a plus.
Proactive, solution-oriented, and comfortable with frequent travel
Availability to travel approx. 30–40%
