Overview
Panasonic Avionics Corporation is seeking a Licensed Aircraft Engineer (Cat A, B1.1 or B2) to join our Technical Services Team. In this role, you will perform line maintenance, troubleshooting, testing, and repair of In-Flight Entertainment and Connectivity (IFEC) systems on aircraft operated under EASA regulations, supporting some of the world's leading airlines.
Key Responsibilities:
Aircraft / IFEC Maintenance & Support
- Perform maintenance, preventive maintenance, and modifications on IFEC systems.
- Conduct Built-In Tests (BIT) and manual functional tests.
- Troubleshoot system faults down to line replaceable modules (LRUs).
- Remove and replace defective components, units, and cabling.
- Perform cabin sweeps, transit checks, and defect rectification.
- Sign for and certify line maintenance tasks within authorization.
- Issue Certificates of Release to Service (CRS) when applicable.
Operations & Customer Support
- Communicate effectively with airline customers and internal teams.
- Escalate technical issues when required.
- Operate vehicles and airline communication equipment on airport property.
Documentation & Administration
- Accurately complete aircraft and maintenance documentation.
- Record testing and repairs using computer and barcode systems.
- Receive, prepare, and help track spare parts and inventory.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and tool control.
Safety & Compliance
- Promote a strong safety culture.
- Follow quality, compliance, and EASA regulatory requirements.
- Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- EASA Part-66 License (Cat A, B1.1 or B2) – required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1–3 years of relevant aircraft maintenance experience preferred.
- IFEC or avionics experience is an advantage.
- General knowledge of aircraft electrical and mechanical systems.
- Ability to pass 5-year background and security checks.
- Valid driver's license.
- Willingness to work shifts.
- Physically able to climb, work at heights, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in confined spaces or outdoor conditions.
- Proficient in MS Office and strong communication skills.
