A Head Chef and a Sous Chef are required for an exclusive luxury villa in Pollenca, Mallorca, from 1st June to the end of September.
A four-bedroom staff house is supplied in Port Pollenca
There is also on-site accommodation for one person
Chef must be English speaking, Spanish would be a bonus, but not essential
A car is provided for shopping purposes at the villa
Villa bookings typically are 1-2 weeks for guests.
Chefs will be serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner and will work their own schedule for service time on and time off, and some meals will be eaten out.
Working 6-days a week, with 1-day off per week
Cooking for anything between 12 and 14 guests and up to 18 guests on odd occasions.
Chefs will be cooking mainly Mediterranean cuisine and international dishes on guest request.
Chefs will be required to provide meals for the 7 villa staff
Lunch is usually served in an informal way with shared platters of food
Dinner is usually served more formally, but this depends on the guests
The chefs should be comfortable interacting with guests without being overly familiar.
Professional and hygienic standards must be observed at all times
A one-day trial will be conducted ASAP
As the positions start in June, a monthly retainer will be considered for the right candidates from now until the official start date.
Salaries are:
Head Chef €6000 per month + tips
Sous Chef €3000 per month + tips
A monthly bonus is paid at the end of the season, equivalent to €1000 per month (€4000) for the head chef and €500 per month (€2000) for the sous chef.
Chefs should have the right to work in Spain and to work as contractors or freelancers.
