* Lead the peer review process, audits and quality controls, using critical thinking, problem-solving and data insights to identify trends and improvement actions.
* Develop underwriting capabilities through targeted training and coaching in areas such as risk selection, pricing for risk, aligning coverage with risk, contract knowledge, loss analysis and portfolio management.
* Oversee local underwriting authorities with regional line leaders, monitoring breaches and ensuring remediation.
* Ensure price monitoring in collaboration with actuaries and Line Leaders, leveraging data analytics and loss analysis to optimise performance.
* Work closely with distribution partners and internal stakeholders to deliver premium service, identify cross-sell and opportunity management levers, and support complex negotiations and deal structures.
* Help build a Lean, continuous-improvement culture, own the Underwriting Centre Playbook, and engage with the Madrid Chubb Academy cohort as a source of ideas and future talent.
Qualifications
* Degree in technical discipline and 5+ years of insurance experience with a solid Commercial P&C underwriting background.
