Job Description :
This newly created role of General Manager, Spain, supports our international expansion. Initially, the role will focus 75% on start-up activities in Spain for 12-18 months, transitioning to 25-50% over 18-24 months, and then fully managing P&L responsibilities of an established country manager.
Start-up (12 – 18 months) Responsibilities :
* Develop organizational structure aligned with business strategy for entering the Spanish market and establishing Pod therapy to grow the market with differential benefits to Insulet.
* Guide, direct, and balance market development, commercial execution, and product initiatives for success.
* Lead strategic business development activities, including local partnerships (e.g., JDRF), advocacy, KOL engagement, and digital education opportunities.
* Successfully launch Omnipod in Spain, establishing commercial traction and driving category growth, reimbursement, and new product launches like 5.0.
* Grow the business in line with market rates, profitability, and GM targets.
