About the Position
We are seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Business Controller Officer to join our finance team. You will support the Finance Senior Manager in executing day‑to‑day financial operations, ensuring compliance with EU grant regulations, and contributing to the smooth functioning of our financial systems and processes. This is a hands‑on role ideal for someone with solid accounting and financial administration experience, who can quickly adapt and contribute to a dynamic, international environment.
Missions and Key Accountabilities
* Contribute to monthly and annual financial closings in coordination with external accounting partners.
* Ensure full compliance with grant‑related financial rules and donor requirements.
* Prepare, review, and consolidate financial data for internal reporting, audits, and management reviews.
* Deliver responsive and reliable administrative and financial support to internal teams.
* Act as a point of contact for inquiries from grant beneficiaries, vendors, and external partners.
* Collaborate with the finance team to streamline processes and support ad‑hoc business and operational needs.
Qualifications and Experience
* 2–5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or grant administration.
* Proficient with MS Office (especially Excel) and familiar with ERP software such as Oracle or Netsuite.
* Fluent in English; business language is English.
* Strong analytical, detail‑oriented, and rigorous work habits with respect for timelines and deadlines.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proactive, independent and trustworthy.

Location
The role location will be at EIT Manufacturing in Paris, France, or remotely from one of the following countries: France, Belgium, Spain, Germany, Portugal, Greece or Italy.
