About the role:
As a Category Manager you will partner with a category team to improve cost, quality, delivery, and reliability to reach organizational goals. You will grow a category management team in an assigned category (automation and/or equipment). We require relationship skills to manage organizational needs, project timelines, and resource management.
You will report to the Director Supply Chain Capital, Global Category Management and be located in Spain or in France or in Belgium.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Build and maintain an overall category strategy to meet organizational goals.
2. Guide the segmentation of assigned spend into appropriate category and subcategory groupings.
3. Improve Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) while securing supply continuity through identifying and mitigating current and potential risks and opportunities in the category plan.
4. Ensure smooth execution of the category strategy through collaboration with our preferred suppliers. This involves "right-sizing" non-preferred suppliers and rewarding preferred partners with business awards.
5. Lead main business reviews (SRM) with strategic suppliers to lead the category strategy and completion of category goals.
6. Review presentations for supplier relationship management meetings, category plans, risk mitigation proposals, 4-Blockers, and gap analysis.
