Do you bring CEFR C2-level English (or equivalent) and a genuine passion for client service and teaching across ages?
At reception you turn curiosity into clarity; in admissions you match needs to the right course; in class you turn practice into confidence.
We’re a growing team next to Sagrada Familia: Language Avenue (premium language academy) and sister hub Nexus Coworking. This hybrid role blends client-facing sales/admin with part-time English teaching. We are located at Lepant 270.
What you’ll do
Sales & Admin (Front Desk)
* Welcome walk-ins and leads; explain services clearly and build trust.
* Manage enrollments, bookings, invoicing coordination, and follow-ups.
* Handle scheduling, class changes, and day-to-day communications (email/WhatsApp/calls).
* Keep CRM and calendars tidy; spot appropriate upsell opportunities.
* Bring experience in planning initiatives and growing the student base.
English Teaching
* Deliver communicative lessons for Kids, Teens, and Adults across CEFR levels.
* Use digital tools and interactive methods to create dynamic classes.
Who we’re looking for
* Experience in academies and/or coworking (client management, enrollments, or services).
* Strong customer service & sales background; clear, confident communicator.
* Organized, proactive, detail-oriented; professional and positive.
* Comfortable switching between front desk/admin and teaching, since your passion is divided between the teaching world and generating impact further.
Requirements
* English proficiency at CEFR C2 — any of the following satisfy this criterion:
* CEFR C2 certification or demonstrably equivalent competence with strong cultural awareness.
* Full professional command of English (C2 or equivalent), able to model accurate pronunciation and contemporary usage.
* Spanish B2–C1 conversational level.
* Proven teaching experience across CEFR levels; exam-prep experience a plus.
* Confident with digital tools and classroom tech.
* Already based in Barcelona with a valid EU/Spanish work permit (part-time eligibility).
Conditions
Part-time contract with long-term growth perspective.
First-year compensation (starting point):
* Sales & Admin: ~€700/month for ~20 hours/day, Mon–Fri (4 h/day).
* Schedule: rotational during mornings and early afternoons.
* Teaching: start at ~9 h/week, ~€530/month (likely to grow over time).
* Schedule: hours distributed within the range of 17:30 to 20:30/21:30.
* Total starting compensation: ~€1,230/month (combined both business branches) for 29h/week.
* Bank holidays + contract holidays
For profiles with strong experience in Sales & Admin (Admissions), while also experienced in English teaching, we’re open to a 40-hour full-time offer upfront, with remuneration aligned to both business lines.
Afternoon & early evening schedule.
Start date: September 2025.
What we offer
* Supportive management where your input is valued.
* Friendly, international, collaborative team across school and coworking.
* Clear methodology, quality materials, and strong operational systems.
Nice to have: CLIL/communicative methodology; Business or Legal English, CRM, Intercom/Kommo, Airtable/Advanced Excel-Google Sheets.
Note: We assess candidates on skills and evidence of proficiency—not nationality or place of birth.
