Senior Full Stack Engineer - Fintech
Madrid Office - Hybrid: 4 days in the office, 1 day working from home
The Client Evolution team at Ebury is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to play a crucial part in our team. In this full-stack role, you will be instrumental in the development and enhancement of our lending domain. Responsibilities:
1. Contribute to the development of the next iteration of our Client platforms services, collaborating both in the development and delivery of new products but also in the improvement and automation of existing ones
2. Collaborate with your team members and engineering leaders to design new services and components using our Request For Comments (RFC) process
3. In line with our "You build it, you own it" philosophy, take full ownership of the products you build, including development and ongoing maintenance
4. Develop complex web applications using Python/Django, Node.js in the backend, and React/VueJS in the frontend; familiarity with other languages is also acceptable
5. Communicate ideas clearly and concisely in English, both written and spoken, especially when working with colleagues from different countries
6. Construct and manage services, establish standard APIs, incorporate monitoring systems and alerting services, and integrate external systems
7. Containerize your code, add monitoring and alerting to your services, and ensure quality with testable code and good test coverage
8. Utilize Jenkins pipelines and Terraform for CI/CD processes
9. Stay updated with emerging technologies, tools, and practices
About you:
* Knowledge of algorithms, object-oriented and functional design principles, and best-practice patterns
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
* 2+ years of experience applying AI to practical and comprehensive technology solutions
* Experience with TypeScript, Vue 3, TailwindCSS, PostCSS, Webpack, Jest, Cypress, Storybook
* Experience with Python 3, Django, PostgreSQL, Redis, REST APIs
* Strong knowledge of Linux systems, cloud infrastructure, networking, and databases
* Code should be testable with good unit and integration test coverage; familiarity with CI Jenkins pipelines and Terraform is beneficial
* SQL knowledge is a plus
* Strong communication and collaboration skills
* Ability to communicate clearly in English, both written and spoken
