We seek a professional individual to join our team as a Frontend Engineer (d/f/m). In this role, you will be responsible for developing services for our mobility and motors domain to improve in verticalizing and upleveling the services we offer to our users. You will be part of a cross-functional team including members from the areas of Product, User Experience, Analytics, and Engineering with the mission "to become the most convenient, fair and trusted digital market for second hand vehicles in DE”.
What you’ll do
Work together with your multidiscipline team to develop a better search experience for our buyers, better ad management for our sellers, and bring new services to them
Keep the platform’s architecture clean, stable, and scalable
Handle up to 60k requests per second while the platform is still growing
Drive your ideas for code, process, and product improvements
Ensure quality and maintainability by improving build and test systems
Bring in your perspective of how our users’ problems can be solved
Who You Are
You are fluent in HTML5, CSS3, and TypeScript
You have 4+ years of experience working with React or Next.js projects - you would call yourself an expert
You have 4+ years of experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, and Cypress, and you understand why testing matters
Experience with responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility
You know how to read and work with existing codebases
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
You always aim to bring the best UX possible to our customers
You have a speak up mentality and point out things that are not right in your opinion.
