Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Security Engineer with a focus on mobile applications to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence the security strategies of mobile-first applications across diverse clients, including startups, scale-ups, and enterprise partners.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement security best practices across mobile platforms (Android, iOS, web-integrated experiences, many developed with Flutter).
Conduct threat modeling, code reviews, and penetration testing for mobile applications.
Collaborate with product, engineering, and infrastructure teams to define secure architecture patterns, especially for cross-platform mobile applications.
Lead incident response and forensics related to mobile security issues.
Stay updated on the latest mobile security vulnerabilities, tools, and exploits, and proactively manage risks.
Contribute to security standards and policies, promoting secure development practices organization-wide.
Mentor developers on secure coding, platform-specific risks, and privacy considerations.
Qualifications:
At least 4 years of experience in security engineering, focusing on mobile platforms.
Deep understanding of Android and iOS security models and attack vectors.
Experience with secure mobile app development tools (e.G., static/dynamic analysis, reverse engineering frameworks) and third-party services like NowSecure, AppDome.
Proficiency in at least one mobile programming language:
Dart (Flutter), Kotlin/Java (Android), Swift/Objective-C (iOS), or TypeScript (web).
Knowledge of securing mobile CI/CD processes and backend APIs.
Experience with app store security guidelines, compliance standards (SOC2, HIPAA, GDPR), or mobile MDM and enterprise app distribution.
