PLD Space is an international space services company with in‐house engineering and manufacturing. It is dedicated to transporting satellites and humans into space, vertically integrating engineering, testing, manufacturing and operations of its reusable and sustainable rockets. Headquartered in Elche (Spain) and founded in 2011 by Raúl Torres and Raúl Verdú, PLD Space has established itself as a global benchmark in the space launcher sector. Its MIURA family of launchers and its LINCE manned capsule position the company as a leader in European technological sovereignty in space transportation, covering the full range of space missions.

Mission
As a Welding Engineer, your main mission within the area will be within the Manufacturing engineering department to guarantee the quality of welding processes ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.
Responsibilities
Preparation and implementation of technical documentation (WPS, WPQR...).
Guarantee and improve the quality of welding processes by ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.
Ability to manage and interpret non‐destructive and destructive tests following the applicable regulations in each case.
Manage and evaluate welding work subject to high quality standards (aeronautical or aerospace).
Coordinate and plan the welding work.
Necessary Requirements
Degree in Industrial Engineering or similar with high knowledge in welding processes.
It is valuable to have the title of International Welding Engineer (IWE).
It is valuable to have the title of International Welding Technician (IWT).
It is valuable to have the title of International welding inspector (IWI) or at least certain levels of ICSI inspection, that is, inspection of welded constructions.
It is valuable to have the title of European Adhesives Engineer (EAE) or European Adhesives Specialist (EAS).
Essential computer skills spanning the MS Office suite of applications, i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.
High level of Spanish.
