Job Purpose And Overview
In the Industrial segment, develop and maintain sales of the company’s product range, seek out new business opportunities and products, while managing current business activities to include Key Account management responsibilities. Participate in cluster budget and apply the sales policy in place.
Fundamentals of the Position
1. Commercial development of customer – 80% focus.
2. Prepare and implement objectives and budgets for your operating sector along with the N+1.
3. Develop effective and shared business plans for key customers.
4. Achieve budgeted sales and margin targets.
5. Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities to deliver profitable sales.
6. Develop a clear understanding of all Dawn capabilities and communicate those effectively to customers.
7. Manage all assigned accounts effectively, efficiently, and profitably.
8. Continuously improve industry knowledge.
9. Develop key internal relationships (Commercial, NPD, Supply Chain, Marketing, S&OP).
10. Provide timely feedback to team members for personal development.
11. Conduct sales analysis and complete reports as required.
12. Complete weekly and monthly reports concisely and on time.
13. Communicate effectively across departments.
14. Provide management with regular information updates.
15. Represent the company at trade shows and exhibitions.
16. Collaborate with NPD and marketing teams on new product development.
17. Manage overhead spend, including promotional funding and samples.
18. Operate cost-effectively.
19. Research markets, customers, and competitors; report on trends.
20. Perform other duties as reasonably requested.
Qualifications and Experience
* Experience in Own Brand and Branded product sales.
* Proficiency in MS Office (intermediate) and Salesforce.
* Ability to travel as needed.
* At least 10 years of experience in the Bakery Industry.
