We are looking for a detail-oriented and driven business development professional to help NXTLVL run efficiently and grow in key markets, by supporting internal operations, identifying and acquiring new customers as well as identifying profitable business opportunities.To be successful as a Head of Business Development & Ops, you should be persuasive and have strong business acumen, should be adept at sales and negotiating sound business deals, demonstrate excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills as well as be process-oriented.Experience with general operations leading teams and experience in early stage startups is a huge plus. You thrive off of being able to explain complicated concepts to partners that are part of different disciplines.**What you‘ll do**:- Be the right-hand for the COO, with hands-on responsibility for various day-to-day activities within HR, accounting, recruiting, marketing, sales, legal and operations etc.- Launch and grow commercial activities across Spain, as well as any new markets entered.- Build solid relationships with vendors and partners, including PR agencies, brand ambassadors and education communities, to drive DTC sales.- Generate B2B leads, cold call prospective clients, including schools and school networks, companies and other education-relevant organizations, and onboard them as B2B clients.- Track and provide input to the performance marketing team, with the support of the NXTLVL marketing and leadership team, to drive sales across DTC channels.- Participate and contribute to the global business development strategy; localise the business sales and marketing strategy.- Explore and analyze markets and trends in the industry, and identify new opportunities.***You have**:- 5+ years of working experience in business development, sales or biz ops roles.- An MBA or a Masters/Bachelors degree in business administration, marketing, finance or related field is helpful but not a requirement.- Deep understanding of the Spanish market in terms of customer needs, opportunities and market dynamics.- A network within the primary/ secondary (K12) education industry is a huge plus.- Experience building, managing and scaling business development and sales teams.- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, both in Spanish and English.- Effective negotiation skills and strong business acumen.- Thrive in uncertainty, a self-starter comfortable working with little direction or oversight.**Nice to have**:- Experience working at early-stage and/or fast-growing startups.- Passion for education and transforming the way kids learn.- Experience with managing yourself and others with OKRs.- Budgeting and financial-focused mindset.**We offer**:- Be part of an incredible team of entrepreneurs and builders passionate about education!- Competitive salary based on experience.- Generous stock option plan.- Ownership of goals and a direct impact to the business.- Remote-friendly setup.
