A Day in the Life

Our Structural Heart (SH) business is leading the way in innovation, transforming lives through Medtronic’s advanced technologies and therapies for heart valve disease. As we continue to grow rapidly, we are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. This is a unique chance to make a meaningful impact in a high-growth and high-impact area where your work directly contributes to better patient outcomes.
In this remote role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with healthcare professionals, driving the adoption of our life-saving technologies—including TAVI and TPV products—and actively supporting the continued success of the Structural Heart business.
Responsibilities may include the following, and other duties may be assigned:
* Promote and sell Medtronic’s products and services within the assigned geographic area and/or specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets
* Provide technical support during implant procedures in the operating room
* Develop, build, and strengthen long-term relationships with stakeholders, including distributors and healthcare professionals
* Pursue leads, assess needs, and provide product services to maximize benefits from Medtronic's offerings
* Promote education regarding the company's products and services
* Conduct market research, including customer and competitor activities
* Implement and adapt market development plans and strategies
* Communicate customer feedback on new or modified products to internal teams such as R&D, Operations, and Marketing
Required Knowledge and Experience:
* University degree in life sciences, engineering (biomedical, electrical, etc.), or relevant field
* Minimum 3 years of relevant sales experience in healthcare/medical device industry
* Fluent in English and Spanish (reading, speaking, writing)
* Proficient in computer skills, holds a clean driver’s license, and willing to travel extensively
* Experience working with physicians, nurses, and hospital technicians, providing technical support in operating rooms
Experience in Cath lab procedures is highly valued. Strong communication skills, task management ability, and motivation to build robust customer relationships are essential. Self-motivation and the ability to work with minimal supervision are required.
