We are looking for a Business Analyst to help us lead and digital work streams with a client‑obsessed mindset. As part of the CLM ART, you will act as a customer advocate, working together with technology to ensure that key requirements are being delivered as part of the product backlog.
Successful candidates possess an understanding of banking across wealth management and private banking, exposure to innovation & transformation trends in the industry, and experience in agile ways of working and engagement of stakeholders across departments and geographies.
The candidate will be a member of the IT Digital Transformation team in Madrid and support the engagement & delivery of the CLM ART roadmap to support the bank’s growth strategy.
Your Challenge
Product Discovery & Delivery
* Supporting the bank’s Product Owner for the CLM initiative on strategic capabilities impacting clients and front‑office employees.
* Working with Change & Client Experience, Business Management and Technology teams to conceptualize the journeys, design & prioritize features, provide requirements, prioritize user stories, and work with technology and other team members on delivery.
* Extracting relevant insights from clients’ online behaviour and client usability testing to continuously iterate the client journeys and improve the product experience.
* Implementing frameworks to drive adoption and usage, establishing a feedback loop to ensure that the product meets the needs of clients.
Driving Engagement & Usage
* Managing business and senior stakeholders by acting as a partner and trusted advisor, ensuring continuous user feedback loops during the agile delivery.
* Planning and orchestrating training activities and creating easy‑to‑understand training and engagement materials for clients and front‑office.
* Creating high‑quality communication deliverables such as EDMs to clients and front‑office and articulating the communication strategy through presentation materials.
* Working in projects and having a good grasp of project management in general regarding structure, clear roles & responsibilities, etc.
Your Profile
Must Haves
* At least 7‑8 years’ experience as a Business Analyst in a financial institution, fintech, technology or consultancy company in India.
* Enjoy working on problems with cross‑functional teams to conceptualize journeys, design & prioritize features.
* Excellent communication skills, ability to process information quickly, break complex matters down to their core, run independently, and persevere.
* Comfortable presenting in front of senior leadership & cross‑functional stakeholders to secure required decisions.
* Experience defining a vision and strategy for a digital solution, product or service and successfully managing the full product lifecycle from idea to scaling, including integrating user feedback into product requirements and driving prioritization.
* Fluency in English (oral & written) is mandatory; fluency in Spanish is highly beneficial.
* Proficiency in Jira or similar Agile project‑management tools.
* Experience applying testing methodologies, especially functional testing and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Professional and Technical
* Familiar with client needs in wealth management and private banking; good understanding of business processes, process design, and process re‑engineering.
* Experience with product discovery and delivery concepts for understanding user needs, identifying opportunities, and demonstrating successful, impactful delivery.
* Knowledge of agile methodology and experience partnering with research, design, change and technology within a design‑thinking and agile framework.
* Demonstrated capability for problem solving and decision making.
* Track record of prioritizing and making trade‑offs by objectively evaluating opportunities vs potential pitfalls.
Personal and Social
* Enthusiastic collaborator and team player with a positive attitude. Ability to articulate ideas clearly through daily engagements and presentations.
* Ability to think pragmatically and drive execution of concepts, analyze, prioritize, resolve issues and make decisions during challenging times.
