We are seeking an Associate Director of Operations to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our operations organization. This role will lead Quality, Manufacturing, Logistics, Planning, and MSAT (Manufacturing Sites and Technology), ensuring operational excellence across all areas.
Key Responsibilities: Execute strategic direction
provided by the Operations Executive Director, translating vision into actionable plans that deliver measurable results. Lead and inspire
diverse teams, creating engagement and alignment during a period of significant organizational growth and change. Establish processes and governance
for the new operations vertical, ensuring clarity, efficiency, and compliance. Drive operational excellence
across Quality, Manufacturing, Logistics, Planning, and MSAT, with a strong focus on continuous improvement and innovation. Oversee planning and control of products to meet quality standards and regulatory requirements. Ensure compliance with
Good Manufacturing Practices
(GMP) and applicable laws, certifications, and management systems. Collaborate cross-functionally to identify synergies and optimize processes. Develop and monitor
KPIs
to track performance and progress. Participate in supplier and equipment approval processes. Promote a culture of safety, sustainability, and ethical practices.
Required Qualifications: Education : Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology, Biology, or related field. Experience : Proven track record in CDMO or biologics manufacturing; experience in biotech companies or working with biotech products. Leadership Style : Approachable, humble, and inspiring—able to motivate teams through change and growth. Regulatory Knowledge : Familiarity with FDA regulations is a plus. Languages : Spanish, Catalan, and English (required). Location : Based in Catalonia, with flexibility for two remote workdays per week.
