Specialist in internal medicine for permanent position in the middle of Sweden

Your role
As a specialist in internal medicine, you will independently assess, diagnose, treat, and follow up patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team where collaboration, evidence-based practice, and continuous development are integrated into daily work.
Work includes:
* Investigation, diagnosis, and treatment of internal medicine conditions (cardiology, pulmonology, gastroenterology, infectious diseases, endocrinology).
* Responsibility for ward patients and participation in on-call/emergency work depending on the organizational structure.
* Coordination of care between specialties and care levels.
* Long-term follow-up of chronic diseases and secondary prevention.
* Supervision of junior doctors.
* This position is on-site in Sweden.

Profile requirements
* EU-recognized specialist certification in internal medicine.
* Minimum 2–3 years of post-specialist independent clinical experience.
* Experience with acute internal medicine and complex multimorbid patients.
* Strong clinical decision-making skills in acute and ward-based settings.
* Ability to work in teams and contribute to evidence-based care.
* Willingness to learn Swedish (language training provided).
