Senior site maintenance leader – aircraft ops

Responsible for personnel, operational support, training, supply systems and support services necessary for specific site contract.Provides for sufficient and viable contract performance through effective leadership of the site, to include compliance with quality and safety/environmental standards.Meets or exceeds all performance requirements. Effectively manages employee issues that may arise. Communicates new requirements, concerns, and issues to the PM for resolution.Provides for the welfare of the personnel and the enhancement of the contract, to include optimizing the balance between resources of manpower, equipment, time, and materials across multiple locations supporting the contract.Responsible for keeping the Company, Corporate Management, and Customer Government personnel apprised on current status of operations and maintenance.Ability to communicate knowledgeably and effectively at senior management levels. Strong leadership skills with ability to manage a large and diverse workforce. Skilled in operations, logistics, and resource management.Ability to respond rapidly and sufficiently to changing requirements, unexpected contingencies and other challenging situations. Ability to manage available resources in time sensitive situations.Must be able to qualify for a SECRET security clearance and a Background Investigation.Additional knowledge may be required by contract or assignmentOversees Contractor personnel program/project operations by developing procedures, planning and directing execution of the technical, programming, maintenance and administrative support effort and monitoring and reporting progressResponsible for recruitment of new hires and termination of employees either for cause or routine releaseScreens all employee candidates to ensure adequate qualifications are met before offers are extended

Job Duties

Requirements

10 years current or previous experience in managing a multidiscipline work force required to perform major aircraft inspections/repair, organizational maintenance, aircrew flight operations and training to include but not limited to:Performed as a Site Manager/Supervisor/Lead providing all management and administrative functions necessary for the safe, efficient, effective operation of the site.While operating as a Site Manager/Supervisor/Lead was responsible for interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
