What You’ll Do
As a Parts Advisor, you will play a key role in keeping the department running efficiently by supporting internal teams, maintaining accurate inventory, and delivering excellent service to customers.
Responsibilities Include
- Receive incoming parts and materials, verify shipments, count inventory, and report discrepancies
- Assist internal and external customers in identifying and selecting the correct parts
- Provide pricing, availability, and product information over the phone and in person
- Recommend related parts, companion items, and current specials when appropriate
- Pick parts accurately using picking tickets and deliver them promptly to technicians
- Return unused parts from the shop back into inventory correctly
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked parts department
- Support daily department operations and assist with additional duties as assigned
What We’re Looking For
- Automotive parts experience required
- Prior Parts Advisor experience strongly preferred
- General Motors experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Team-oriented mindset with a strong sense of urgency
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
