Role Overview
Support and maintain SAP interface landscape, ensuring smooth integration between SAP and external systems while troubleshooting and resolving interface‑related issues. The SAP MM‑IM Specialist owns day‑to‑day inventory accuracy, stock control, and material movement processing within SAP.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage inventory processes in SAP MM‑IM, including goods receipts, goods issues, transfer postings, and stock transfers.
- Maintain accurate stock levels and investigate discrepancies between system stock and physical stock.
- Support and maintain material master data, especially fields that drive inventory valuation, storage, and movement behavior.
- Process and monitor material movements using SAP transactions such as MIGO, MBST, MB52, MMBE, and related inventory tools.
- Perform physical inventory activities, cycle counts, and stock reconciliation.
- Work with procurement, production, warehouse, and finance teams to ensure stock movements are correctly reflected in SAP and aligned to business processes.
- Investigate and resolve inventory issues, including blocked stock, discrepancies, movement errors, and reporting mismatches.
- Support testing, issue resolution, user support, and process improvements across inventory and material management activities.
Required Experience
- Strong hands‑on experience in SAP MM Inventory Management.
- Good understanding of material master data and how it impacts stock management and movement processes.
- Experience with goods movement processes, stock types, and physical inventory.
- Exposure to SAP integration with FI, SD, and PP is highly desirable.
- Ability to analyse stock issues, identify root causes, and support operational teams with fixes and process guidance.
