About the Opportunity: Head of Sales (GTM Builder)

Following a period of explosive growth we are ready to scale our Go-To-Market machine to the next level. For the past two years, our CEO has been acting as our Head of Sales. Now, we are ready to pass the keys to a dedicated GTM leader who will take our sales engine from founder-led to a world-class, repeatable system.

As our first Head of Sales, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of financial services across Europe (Spain, Portugal, France, Italy, and others coming soon!). We are on a mission to create a more transparent, fair, and user-centric landscape, building the rails to collect, process, and verify crucial data for underwriting, onboarding, investment, and AML/KYC in real-time.

What You'll Be Doing:

As the Head of Sales at Permisso, you won't just be a reporting manager pushing dashboards from an ivory tower. You will be running our sales team as a business unit. You will start with a focused scope (directly managing our New Business team) and gradually expand your footprint across our entire GTM lifecycle.

Your role will encompass:

* Team Leadership & Coaching: Manage, inspire, and elevate a talented team of Account Executives and SDRs. You will establish weekly and monthly operational rituals, conducting meaningful 1-on-1s focused on motivation, career growth, and tactical problem-solving.
* Process Architecture: Shift the team away from individual heroics. You will implement "Controllable Execution KPIs" to ensure 80%+ of the team predictably hits their targets, standardizing pipeline tracking and documentation so future hiring scales effortlessly.
* On-the-Ground Execution: Stay closely connected to the field. You will actively jump into enterprise "war rooms" and sit in on high-stakes deals to navigate pricing complexities, multi-stakeholder friction, and legal hurdles alongside your reps.
* Cross-Functional Strategy: Act as the vital bridge between the sales floor, RevOps, Marketing, and the CEO. You will collaborate tightly with marketing to optimize the inbound/event funnel and work with our Account Managers, Sales Engineers and the rest of the GTM team to optimize our cycles.
* Territory Cleanup: Masterfully manage deal distribution and focus. You will help reps strip away bloated prospecting lists to focus on a laser-sharp targeted enterprise accounts.

What You'll Need:

To excel in this role, you should have:

* Proven B2B Enterprise SaaS Experience: At least 5+ years of experience in complex, multi-stakeholder mid-market and enterprise B2B SaaS cycles (preferably selling into financial institutions, fintechs, or highly regulated environments).
* The "Builder" Track Record: You are either a Senior AE who has consistently gone out of their way to naturally mentor, onboard, and lift your peers ( AE team lead or similar ), a Junior Sales Manager (1–2 years leadership exp.), or a Sales Manager/Head/VP at a young scale-up who has built or scaled an early-stage sales unit from scratch.
* People-First Management Style: Exceptional emotional intelligence and a horizontal leadership mindset. You drive performance through empowerment and alignment, not micro-management.
* Linguistic Versatility: Native or near-native proficiency in Spanish and an advanced, professional level of English. (Bonus points if you speak French, Italian, or Portuguese!).
* Data Literacy: Deep familiarity with HubSpot, clear forecasting, and automated pipeline hygiene. You know how to look at data in the blink of an eye to diagnose structural risks.
* Startup Resilience: A strong work ethic, high energy, and the psychological safety to operate effectively within an agile, fast-paced scale-up environment.

* Competitive Compensation: Attractive annual salary (€65,000 - €80,000 based on experience) plus a highly rewarding variable structure aligned with overall team performance (60/40 or 70/30 OTE splits ), with built-in quota buffers.

* Recharge Time: A total of 26 days of paid vacation: 23 days + an extra day off for your birthday (because it's your special day!), + 2 days off for Christmas and New Year's Eve.
