Fuerte Group Hotels invites experienced and proactive technical managers to apply for the position of Technical Coordinator (Coordinador/a Técnico). Based at our Corporate Headquarters in the Málaga / Marbella Area, you will be responsible for orchestrating the maintenance, upkeep, and functional efficiency of the Group’s physical infrastructure.
1. Position and Mission (ROLE DETAILS)
* Company: Fuerte Group Hotels (A stable, expanding hotel group).
* Location: Málaga / Marbella Area, Spain (Corporate HQ).
* Mission: Strategically manage and supervise the technical maintenance and services across the hotel portfolio. You will ensure compliance with all technical regulations, optimize resource use, and maintain the highest standards of operational continuity.
2. Essential Job Functions (KEY RESPONSIBILITIES)
Your role requires strong technical knowledge combined with excellent management and coordination skills:
2.1. Maintenance & Team Management
* First, coordinate and supervise the technical maintenance teams across all properties, optimizing the internal and external workload.
* Develop, implement, and monitor preventative and corrective maintenance plans for all facilities (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, sanitation, etc.).
* Ensure all technical infrastructure functions efficiently, minimizing downtime and operational interruptions.
2.2. Project & Contract Supervision
* Oversee and manage small- to medium-sized technical projects, installations, and renovations within the hotels.
* Manage relationships with external technical service providers and suppliers. This ensures adherence to contracts, budget, and quality standards.
* Verify the quality of installations and work performed by third parties.
2.3. Compliance & Budget
* Ensure strict compliance with all current technical, safety, and operational regulations (e.g., CTE).
* Assist the Technical Director and Project Managers with budget control and cost analysis for technical expenditures.
* Maintain meticulous records and technical documentation for all machinery, equipment, and compliance audits.
3. Candidate Profile (JOB REQUIREMENTS) 3.1. Qualifications & Experience
* Education: Technical Engineering degree (Industrial, Electrical, or Mechanical) or relevant technical qualification is required.
* Experience: Minimum of 3 years in technical coordination or management roles, preferably within the hotel, large property, or industrial sector.
* Skills: Strong technical knowledge of hotel facilities (electromechanical systems, climate control, water treatment).
3.2. Language & Adaptability
* Language (MANDATORY): Professional working proficiency in Spanish and English is required to manage teams, contracts, and documentation.
* Adaptability: Proven ability to manage teams remotely and adapt quickly to technical challenges across multiple locations.
