Nursing Officer in Critical Care Medicine Unit, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref: ) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)
Responsibilities
- Assist the operation and management of the AHAITC in HKUMed
- Support and deliver AHAITC courses for healthcare professionals
- Demonstrate leadership and management skills in a team environment to ensure high-quality training and operational efficiency
- Initiate and participate in healthcare research
- Participate in the planning, implementation and evaluation of the service
- Maintain and promote excellent healthcare standards in all aspects of work
- Work flexibly, including outside normal office hours and on weekends
Requirements
- Registered Nurse with a valid nursing license
- Contribution to professional development including research and teaching (with higher priority)
- PRCC in ICU or Emergency Nursing or Cardiac Nursing or equivalent (preferred but not mandatory)
- Minimum 8 years of post-registration experience in a relevant field, existing clinical experience is preferred
- Holding valid BLS and ACLS certificates
- Strong passion in teaching with strong organizational and communicational skills
- Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese
