What will you do?
The Windows Infrastructure team is a key part of SentinelOne's all-star Windows EPP / EDR development group, recognized three times in a row as Gartner Magic Quadrant Leader.
In our team, we are responsible for installers, logging, services such as communication layers, and interfaces for our Windows agent, as well as improving the quality, performance, and stability of the agent to enhance user experience.
As a new member of our distributed team of 6, you will work in Windows user-mode, handling a variety of fields.
* You will design, develop primarily in modern C++ (20 / 23), test, and debug complex real-world problems. You will continuously enrich your knowledge of Windows OS internals and the Endpoint Protection & Response ecosystem.
* Our team develops and executes important feature enhancements, addresses bugs and RCAs, and tackles performance and optimization challenges given the scale of our cybersecurity software handling hundreds of billions of security events.
* Your work will impact the security of tens of millions of Windows devices protected for enterprise and government clients worldwide, including 4 Fortune 10 companies and hundreds of Global 2000 firms.
What skills & knowledge should you bring?
* Multiple years of experience in low-level C++ development for software products.
* Experience with production-grade, large-scale deployments.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively across different time zones.
It would be an advantage if you have
* Deep understanding of Windows OS internals and low-level development, including debugging and development of Windows applications.
* Experience with Windows debugging and profiling tools.
* Experience in security-oriented development, reversing, or malware analysis.
