Are you ready for our English Summer Day Camp in a coastal town in the north of Spain? ? Would you like to gain experience in the areas of education and languages?
This program is for those who want to enjoy an unforgettable experience combining their stay in Spain by working, traveling and learning the language.
The camp is situated in Santoña a coastal town of SPAIN with sunny beaches and a mountain to hike in.
**Camp counselors description**:
Summer Camp Counselor activities include but are not limited to: hiking, water and beach games, scavenger hunts, archery, yoga, gymnastics, dance& music, theater, arts and crafts, experiments and more.
This position is available for seasonal ( July and August) part-time from 8:30 till 14:30 pm and accomodation and food will be provided to you in a host family.
Moreover, you will get some extra money for it. You will have weekends off.
**THESE ARE OUR EXPECTATIONS. Summer Camp Counselor Duties & Responsibilities**:
- Ongoing studies, training, or relevant professional experience in the fields of languages, education, pedagogy, psychology, communication science, sports, arts, music etc.
- **English Native Speaker eligible to work in the European Union.**:
- Minimum age 19 years
- Ensure a fun and safe experience for all the attendees.
- Sense of responsibility, high ability of empathy.
- Fun, love, and humor in dealing with children.
- Enjoy teaching and communicating with children & young people.
- Responsible for all assigned children's health, personal care needs, safety, and general welfare.
- Responsible for assisting in planning and implementing daily activities with management and co-workers to meet the needs and interests of the group.
- Be active in all camp activities with encouragement and positive reinforcement.
Maintain a clean environment for children to engage in activities.
- To perform any miscellaneous duties requested by management.
**Summer Camp Counselor Qualifications**:
- Studies related to education or working with children ( **desirable**).
- Eligible to work in a member country of the European Union
- Physically and emotionally strong, mentally alert, creative, and versátil.
- Must have the ability to work well with others.
- Must enjoy spending time outside in summer conditions: beach, park, mountain..
