The Role
As a Problem Management Expert, you will play a critical role in ensuring the stability and performance of Nespresso's Systems Landscape. You will oversee the Problem Management Lifecycle, focusing on Data Technologies and AI with a primary focus on performance-related issues. Your goal is to eradicate performance bottlenecks, ensure business continuity, and drive continuous improvement within the Digital Tech organization. You will focus on understanding the practical application of database technologies and the importance of performance optimization in evolving business environments. You will work closely with Operations, Products, Markets, and Business Functions, focusing on investigation and crisis management rather than technical hands-on involvement. Additionally, you will provide leadership in crisis management and lead investigations into performance-related issues to maintain high system stability, especially during critical situations and large-scale promotional events.
In This Role, You Will :
* Lead investigations and root cause analysis of performance issues related to databases and systems.
* Develop problem resolution strategies for performance improvements, including coordination of fixes related to databases.
* Foster a culture of continuous performance improvement within Nespresso's Digital Tech, focusing on database optimization and related technologies.
* Address critical incidents and instabilities effectively, especially related to database performance.
* Lead preparation activities for large promotional events, ensuring system stability and performance are optimized.
What We’re Looking For :
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT or equivalent work experience.
* 8-10 years of experience in performance investigation, root cause analysis, and crisis management.
* Proven ability to lead and mentor teams in complex, high-pressure environments, with effective communication skills and a proactive learning attitude. Willingness to evolve into a leadership role.
* Ability to manage stress effectively, especially in crisis situations.
* A flexible and business-oriented mindset to address and resolve challenges.
* Availability for on-call service.
Extra Skills That Set You Apart :
Familiarity with Crisis Management and handling critical situations related to database performance.
Experience in Data technologies, Database Performance Tuning, and scalability.
ITIL and Project Management Certification.
Knowledge of Agile and DevOps principles.
