At HEN Spain, we are looking for an Application Engineer who will ensure successful customer implementation and usage of products or applications. The role involves building strong relationships and providing technical expertise and support throughout the entire customer engagement lifecycle, mainly in Southeast Spain and Portugal.
Main responsibilities include:
* Product / Application Support: Ensure customers understand how to effectively use the company's products, providing technical assistance, troubleshooting, and recommendations for optimal use.
* Customer Engagement: Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers as a trusted technical advisor. Actively listen to their needs, offer tailored solutions, and suggest improvements.
* Pre-sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to provide technical expertise during pre-sales activities, including product demonstrations and addressing technical questions.
* Application Testing and Validation: Test products in various scenarios, identify technical issues, suggest improvements, and provide feedback to the development team.
* Documentation and Training: Provide technical documentation and lead training sessions to ensure proper product understanding and use.
* Internal Collaboration: Work with R&D, marketing, and QA teams to provide feedback, contribute to product improvements, and ensure seamless integration.
* CRM Management: Maintain accurate customer and sales data in the CRM system, monitor data integrity, and generate reports to support sales analysis and forecasting.
Candidate Profile:
* Technical background, preferably in mechanical engineering.
* 3-5 years of experience in the mechanical industry, ideally in steelmaking companies.
* Willing to work in a challenging environment with a problem-solving attitude.
* Fluent in English and Portuguese (spoken and written).
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP.
* Willing to travel within Southeast Spain and Portugal (at least 50%).
