Senior Sales Executive – Air & Ocean FreightLocation: Madrid, Spain (Hybrid / On‐site)Role OverviewWe are seeking a highly experienced Senior Sales Executive to drive growth across air and ocean freight services. This role is suited to an established freight forwarding sales professional with deep market knowledge, strong commercial instincts, and a proven ability to win and grow accounts.
This role requires hands‐on experience in air and ocean freight and strong CRM proficiency. Applicants who do not meet these criteria will not be considered.Key ResponsibilitiesDrive new business acquisition across air freight and ocean freight (FCL & LCL)Manage the full end‐to‐end sales cycle: prospecting, qualifying, quoting, negotiating, and closingBuild and maintain long‐term relationships with importers, exporters, and senior supply‐chain stakeholdersGrow and manage an active portfolio of accounts, increasing revenue, margin, and shipment volumesCollaborate closely with pricing, operations, and customer service teams to deliver competitive logistics solutionsMaintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting within the CRM systemMonitor market trends, rates, trade lanes, and carrier availability to support commercial strategy
Mandatory Requirements (Non‐Negotiable)Minimum 5+ years of proven sales experience in air and ocean freight forwardingStrong, day‐to‐day proficiency in CRM systems (pipeline management, forecasting, reporting)Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targetsSolid understanding of international freight operations, pricing structures, and IncotermsFluency in Spanish and EnglishBased in Madrid or willing to relocate
