Place / Unit of assignment:
The Parc Taulí Research and Innovation Institute (I3PT) is a CERCA centre, accredited as a Health Research Institute by the ISCIII, and carries out biomedical and hospital research and innovation aimed at generating value by promoting social and economic growth. The candidate will join the Infections and Immunology Area of the Institute with functional dependence on the Critical Care Area of the CCSPT. The selected person will be linked to the Translational Research in Critically Ill Patients research group (Group A8G3) of the Parc Taulí Research and Innovation Institute (I3PT), to develop a research project that proposes the clinical validation of a medical device that electrically stimulates the respiratory muscles in a non-invasive way, by conducting 2 clinical trials. The candidate will support the research team, participating in the tasks of patient inclusion, clinical data collection, analysis of results and collaboration in the writing of scientific publications.

Requirements:
University degree in Medicine, Nursing or Physiotherapy.

The candidate will be employed, through a temporary contract in accordance with the provisions of the tenth additional provision of Law 17/2022, of September 5, which modifies Law 14/2011, of June 1, on Science, Technology and Innovation, for the execution of the project: Clinical validation of Heecap, a non-invasive electrostimulation system for respiratory muscles for patients under mechanical ventilation with code: CPP2023-010467 of the Agency.

Selection process:
The general conditions of this call will be governed by what is included in this announcement, and with the procedures that are contemplated in the standard call bases for the occupation of current positions that can be consulted on the entity's website www.tauli.cat .
In accordance with the current Selection and Linkage Code, candidates will undergo the following tests:
* Curriculum assessment (assessment of merits in accordance with the items in the section will be assessedand with the corresponding accreditations, except for internal experience that will be accredited ex officio) including the letter of motivation that accompanies the candidacy.
* Personal interview (for professionals without internal experience) or management assessment.
* Psychotechnical test.
Competency tests that are considered necessary to assess the suitability of the candidatures may be added, within the framework established in the current Selection and Linkage Code. In accordance with the principles of procedural economy and speed of the process, the stages of the selection process may also be reduced depending on the ratio of candidates who meet the requirements of this offer.
