As an M&A Associate in Infrastructure & Industrials at Santander CIB, you will work on live, high-impact transactions within a global platform. You collaborate with senior bankers to deliver integrated advice to corporates and sponsors, contributing to execution and client strategy. The role blends cross-border exposure with mentorship and a client-centric, risk-aware culture. You’ll have meaningful deal exposure from day one and opportunities to shape outcomes for infrastructure and industrials clients.

• Lead and manage execution of complex M&A and capital markets transactions
• Oversee financial analysis, valuation, and modelling exercises
• Develop and present strategic advice to clients, including boards
• Coordinate with product teams and external advisers (accounting, legal, etc.)
• Drive marketing initiatives and support business development
• Mentor and develop junior team members and provide training
• Support recruiting activities for the team
• Ensure high-quality client deliverables and maintain strong client relationships
Responsabilidades
• 4+ years of significant experience in Investment Banking within Infrastructure and/or Industrials
• Undergraduate degree from a top-tier university
• Fluency in English and Spanish (Required)
• Additional European languages (Preferred)
• Strong quantitative and analytical abilities with advanced Excel xpzdshu modelling and valuation expertise
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Proven project management and leadership abilities
• Ability to take initiative and own tasks
• Deep interest in Infrastructure and Industrials markets and trends
