Your Mission As
Senior Sales Manager Spain, you will develop and strengthen Prova’s footprint in the Spanish market. Acting as a strategic partner to food manufacturers, you will support them in creating indulgent, distinctive, and sustainable products while reinforcing our leadership in brown flavours and natural extracts. The sales manager will be attached to Prova’s Spanish subsidiary
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Strategy Implement Prova’s commercial strategy for the Spanish market in line with Southern Europe growth ambitions. Identify high-potential market segments and prioritize business development opportunities across the sweet food industry (bakery, confectionery, dairy, ice cream, beverages, nutrition…). Lead major commercial negotiations and contribute to pricing strategy and portfolio positioning. Build strong, trust-based relationships with key stakeholders (R&D, Purchasing, Marketing). Coordinate customer development projects in close collaboration with Prova’s technical and sensory teams. Strengthen Prova’s market share and visibility in brown flavour solutions. Handle the commercial follow-up of Portuguese customers (this will represent a maximum of 10% of the activity)
Performance & Reporting Monitor sales KPIs: revenue, margin, forecasts, and project conversion rate. Provide accurate, structured, and regular reporting to Sales Management. Represent Prova at professional trade fairs and industry events.
Ideal Profile Master’s degree in Business, Food Science, or related field. 7–10 years of proven B2B sales experience in flavours, ingredients, or the food industry. Strong knowledge of the Spanish food market and its major players. Excellent negotiation, communication, and strategic skills. Product-driven, curious, and passionate about sensory experience and flavour innovation. Autonomous, result-oriented, and collaborative. Native or fluent Spanish. Fluent English required; French is a strong plus. Willingness to travel 50–60% across Spain and occasionally to France.
