Our client is reinventing direct-to-consumer promotions for the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods sector, we are seeking to hire a Business Developer in Spain to drive the growth and strengthen market presence.
Main Responsibilities:
Conduct research and analyze the consumer goods sector to detect trends and business opportunities that add value to the company.
Seek out and establish contact with potential clients, namely major international and local producers or exclusive distributors of famous brands, and other relevant industry players, presenting our direct-to-consumer promotion solutions.
Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients, understanding their needs and offering tailored value propositions.
Deliver sales presentations, negotiate terms, and close mutually beneficial agreements.
Work closely with product team to align strategies and ensure competitive and effective proposals.
Study competitors to identify unique advantages and adjust business development strategies accordingly.
Monitor the progress of sales opportunities, keep records updated, and present results reports to management.
Attend fairs, conferences, and related events in the food and beverage sector to expand your network and identify new opportunities.
Requirements:
Previous experience in business development, sales or similar roles within the food and beverage sector, either in agency or FMCG Company.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both in Spanish and English.
Knowledge of the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods market and industry trends.
