In this Staff Engineer role, you will help build and evolve high-performance services that power Glovo’s Database u0026amp; Streaming provisioning systems. You’ll contribute to a scalable, secure, and developer-friendly platform under the Tech Foundations vertical, enabling rapid feature delivery across our engineering community. You’ll shape the internal Streaming Ecosystem and Kubernetes Operator ecosystem, driving reliability and automation at scale. You’ll work closely with cross-functional partners to balance agility with compliance and user experience. This is an opportunity to impact millions of users by simplifying stateful resource management and accelerating the pace of innovation.

• Design, build, and maintain high-performance services powering provisioning systems for Database u0026 Streaming
• Expand and support the Kubernetes Operator ecosystem by extending custom-built operators
• Develop tools to simplify provisioning, access, and governance across hundreds of AWS accounts and GCP projects
• Contribute to the architecture of the internal Streaming Ecosystem to improve scalability, reliability, and developer experience
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and security specialists to design self-service, compliant workflows
• Participate in team discussions and propose solutions to enhance automation, performance, and user satisfaction
Responsabilidades
• Strong proficiency in Golang with production-grade services
• Hands-on experience managing Kubernetes and developing operators
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills for complex systems at scale
• Solid understanding of Databases u0026 Streaming solutions (Aurora RDS, CloudSQL, Kafka, Flink)
• Automation mindset focused on reliability and developer experience
• Experience with APIs, microservices, and distributed architectures
