As a Junior Brand Manager Vet Essentials & Portugal in Hill's Iberia you will provide Retail Marketing, Business Analytics and Accounts support to the Iberia business to deliver business goals and objectives in Vet Essentials and also supporting the development of all brands and Marketing strategies for Portugal. You will work closely with Customer Development and Digital Marketing organizations to drive sales, increase SOM and improve brand health. This is an office role based in Madrid, Spain.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
* Brand Strategy
o Brand and key segment product portfolio management
o Identify issues / opportunities, analysis and propose action plans to achieve the objectives of the brand
o Lead long-term downstream new product innovation and annual new product launch strategies
o Participate in strategic brand planning and overall brand communications plans
o Gain Senior Mgt alignment to brand strategies and go-to-market plans
o Managing cross-functional teams to lead commercialization efforts
* Go-to-Market & IMC Communications
o Lead brand team in new product launches, re-launches, and updates
o Lead the creative development of brand marketing IMC’s
o Develop strategic 6P marketing plans and important metrics
o Identify & lead key “test and learn” opportunities
o Drive the execution of margin improvement and revenue growth management initiatives
* Insights & Analytics
o Develop strong business and functional understanding of brand segments, our products and the competitive set, and develop plans to address issues/opportunities
o Develop & utilize strong vet health care team and consumer (shopper) insights of the category, market and condition of focus.
o Understand the clinic retail environment, sales reps and field team needs to deliver strong promotional and marketing programs
* Commercial Planning and Monitoring
o Support Long Lead Planning, Budget Review, and Mid-Year Review
o Ongoing monitoring and analysis on brand sales, volume, market share, promotional activities, competitive insights
o Recommend areas for brand improvement and remediation
* Performs other duties as assigned
* Complies with all policies and standards
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or Related Field
* At least 2 years of experience in CPG marketing, retail marketing experience or agency experience
* Portuguese,Spanish and English fluently is mandated
* Critical thinking & problem solving
* Strong analytical skills and ability to uncover measurable insights in large datasets
* Brand marketing knowledge
* Effective communicator
* Ability to achieve operational results
* Influence independently, negotiate effectively and build relationships with cross functional team members
