The Opportunity
We’re hiring a COO to help scale an AI-driven platform that’s already transforming property maintenance — and evolving into something much bigger.
Today, the business automates maintenance operations for property managers and letting agents. Tomorrow, it aims to become the data infrastructure layer for the built environment — powering industries like robotics, insurance, and smart devices.
Think of the trajectory of companies like Google — starting with a focused product, then becoming the default layer for an entire ecosystem.
This is a Series A business with real traction, clear revenue, and an ambitious roadmap. The next step is bringing in a COO who can scale it globally and help realise that broader vision.
The Role As COO, you will work directly with the founder to: Scale the Core Business
* Drive growth of the AI-powered maintenance platform (UK → global)
* Optimise operations, supply-demand dynamics, and unit economics
* Build repeatable, scalable systems
Build the Data Engine
* Turn operational activity into high-value structured data
* Define data strategy, ownership, and monetisation
* Work closely with the CTO to ensure the technology architecture supports rapid data capture, structuring, and scalability
* Align product, engineering, and commercial priorities to maximise data value
* Lay the foundations for a future data platform
Lead Strategic Expansion
* Develop enterprise partnerships (insurance, utilities, proptech, robotics)
* Operate at senior levels with global stakeholders
* Structure and close high-value commercial deals
Build & Lead the Organisation
* Design and scale the leadership team
* Hire and manage high-performing operators across functions
* Create a culture built for speed, ownership, and execution

Experience
* Proven track record scaling a tech business at pace
* Experience through IPO, M&A, or late-stage growth
* Strong operational and commercial leadership background

* Exceptional operator (process, scale, execution)
* High-level dealmaker and negotiator
* Able to move between strategy and hands-on execution
* Experience building and leading senior teams
Mindset
* Highly driven, competitive, and resilient
* Comfortable operating in ambiguity and building from first principles
* Commercially sharp and decisive
* Able to operate at the level of top-tier founders and operators (e.g. engaging peers of Elon Musk)
Industry background is not essential — pattern recognition and scaling experience matter more.
