Junior Finance Business Controller Analyst

At Schindler, we are seeking to hire a Junior Finance Business Controller Analyst to support Month-End Closing and other Finance & Backoffice operations for a set of entities, centralized at Schindler's Center of Expertise (CoE) in Madrid.
Your key challenges and tasks will include :
* Supporting month-end closing processes for a designated group of companies of varying sizes and complexities, providing an opportunity to gain in-depth process understanding.
* Detailed reporting of the Balance Sheet, P&L statement, and other management accounting reports to the Group Reporting Tool.
* Monthly reconciliation of key balance sheet and P&L accounts, supporting discrepancy identification and system corrections.
* Performing pre-closing checks to ensure a smooth month-end close.
* Providing ad-hoc reports for zone management and global controlling.
* Supporting continuous improvement of business processes at the Group level.

We are looking for a self-directed, organized, quick learner, responsible, and reliable team player. Your strong analytical and conceptual thinking, combined with good communication skills and an open mind, will enable you to grow within Schindler Finance.
Further requirements include :
* Master's degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.
* At least 2 years of experience in similar roles.
* Experience in financial reporting and a solid accounting foundation.
* Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
* Ability to work in an international environment.
* Travel – not frequent, if required.
* Proficient in English; knowledge of other languages is an asset.
* Knowledge of PowerBI is a plus.
* Hands-on experience with SAP FI / CO modules is a plus.
