Product Manager - Surgical Sutures
B. Braun is seeking a Global Product Manager that will be leading the upstream marketing activities of our portfolio strategy in Aesculap’s ORS business unit. You will be responsible for driving growth to the business and category leadership by developing a wide product pipeline within surgical sutures as well as ensuring that our local partners in each country have the product, tools and support they need to success. This role will work closely with Tuttlingen’s Global Marketing.
Duties and responsibilities:
* Develop and direct product management and product marketing activities for ORS portfolio
* Specify market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research
* Provide sales team with technical expertise to enable them to sell the products
* Responsible for printed and electronic material, product training and competitors update. Ensure that these materials are being used optimally
* Act as point of first reference for all product related enquiriesWork closely together with other departments in new product developments and other product related projects
* Responsible for preparing product forecast to ensure production and supply timelines
* Bachelor’s degree in Life Science, with postgraduate studies in Marketing desired
* 5+ years as Product Manager in Medical Device, Healthcare or Pharmaceutical industry
* Solid knowledge of Medical Devices Industry
* Strong presentation and communication skills with proven ability to prepare business reports and speak effectively in front of groups of customers, employees and Company management
* Proactive and self-driven. Able to prioritize and smoothly manage multiple tasks
* Critical thinking and analysis of market conditions and opportunities
* Team player. Good at working with others in a cross functional group on a global level
* Ability to travel
