Location: FTN-EMEIA/ESP/BCN/BCN/Barcelona Job Description: Summary of Essential Job Functions: Pricing Apply and manage profit margin settings for ocean, air, road freight, and origin & destination charges as per directive from the Pricing Lead. Handle requests for profit margin adjustments. Keep record of local status of rate request, monitor feedback and follow up. RFQ’s (Local, Regional & Global): Receive, quote, and submit local, regional, and global RFQs to requestor who owns the RFQ (i.e.: Sales) Coordination of RFQ’s (Pricing part only) and act as the liaison between relevant stakeholders Ensures a complete, accurate, timely and competitive submission (create pricing to win RFQ’s) Gather prices through: review previous submissions, achieved cost report, financial statistics (i.e.: costs/prices applied for previous shipments and procurement information from local product owner) Provide pricing level justification. FreightOs (Quotation Tool) Act as escalation path in case of incomplete quotes, request of reductions or other margin related activities. Manage timely, complete, and accurate quotation requests. Ensure that each quotation is compliant with legal requirements (i.e.: terms & conditions), ensure that layout and content of each quotation deliver an outstanding customer experience resulting in higher win rates (i.e.: accuracy, completeness and easy to understand). Minimum Requirements: Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Business, Quantitative Analysis, Logistics, or related field. Experience and Knowledge: Freight Forwarding Pricing Experience – min 3 years.
