Job Description
The Warranty Specialist is responsible for the day to day administration, control, and analysis of warranty claims within the Spanish dealer network.
Reporting to the Technical & Quality Manager, the role ensures warranty correctness, policy compliance, cost control, and timely resolution of dealer submissions, while supporting transparency and continuous quality improvement.
Responsibilities
- Review and process dealer warranty claims for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with warranty policies.
- Validate labour operations, parts usage, and supporting documentation prior to approval or rejection.
- Ensure claims are handled within defined timelines and service level expectations.
- Act as the primary warranty point of contact for the Spanish dealer network.
- Support dealers in correct application of warranty policies, procedures, and documentation standards.
- Provide clear guidance on claim rework, rejection reasons, and corrective actions.
- Monitor warranty trends, repeat repairs, and abnormal claim patterns.
- Identify potential risks related to cost exposure, incorrect repairs, or misuse of warranty coverage.
- Escalate systemic issues and cost risks to the Technical & Quality Manager.
- Work closely with Technical Support to ensure technical justification aligns with approved warranty outcomes.
- Support quality investigations by providing warranty data and analysis linked to field issues.
- Contribute to root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure correct claim submission processes and reporting in line with campaign instructions.
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in automotive warranty administration, aftersales operations, or service support.
- Strong understanding of warranty policies, dealer workflows, and cost control principles.
- Good technical awareness of vehicle systems and repair processes.
- High attention to detail with analytical and reporting skills.
- Confident dealer communication and problem solving capability.
- Fluent Spanish and English required.
