The team focuses on the top 100 customers in Western Europe to drive device revenues, demonstrating the capacity to connect with key stakeholders and lead large device deals.
As a Surface Specialist, you will expand your sales skills across an international territory of 2 to 4 countries, with support for others as needed. You will lead device business with strategic customers, gain visibility in the Modern workspace, and accelerate your career growth.
This role offers flexible work options, including remote work based on customer meeting needs.
Join our Modern Work Team as a Surface Specialist to help customers create secure, productive workplaces with innovative Surface solutions. You will focus on assigned accounts, drive revenue across the Surface portfolio, consult with decision-makers, and recommend solutions to meet their business needs. You will partner with customers during hardware evaluations, pilots, and deployment, ensuring high satisfaction. Travel required: 25-40%.
Qualifications
* 3+ years of experience in technology-related sales or account management.
* OR Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field AND 3+ years of relevant experience.
* 2+ years in solution or services sales.
* Strategic thinker with strong communication, negotiation, organizational, and presentation skills. Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of competing effectively. Ability to work collaboratively across teams and with partners.
Responsibilities
* Lead Surface sales with product expertise for assigned customers within the Modern Workplace team.
* Maintain operational excellence, including pipeline development, CRM hygiene, opportunity management, and forecasting.
* Successfully close complex deals with a technical understanding of devices and requirements.
* Act as the primary interface to customers, orchestrating resources to solve problems.
* Listen to customer needs, synthesize feedback, and present strategic recommendations aligned with their business objectives.
* Engage with stakeholders to build long-term business relationships and inspire teams.
* Deliver persuasive presentations to decision-makers and influencers.
* Assist customers in building their business and IT solutions based on Microsoft technology.
* Identify and resolve technical and competitive blockers with the right resources.
* Own opportunities from start to close, collaborating with partners and sales teams to scale sales and incorporate AI solutions.
* Share knowledge and learn best practices from peers.
* Overcome challenges with a positive, problem-solving approach, identifying opportunities for growth.
